The team results from the fusion of 2 former IMRB teams both working on chronic lung diseases: one team whose scientific domains are the pathophysiology of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and the consequences of environmental particle inhalation, and the other whose scientific domains are genetic and molecular bases of cystic Fibrosis (CF) and of surfactant disorders.
